Erika Salvo

Physician Assistant, Nutritionist, & Coach

Erika is a compassionate and dedicated physician assistant. She has devoted over two decades of her life to the noble pursuit of healing and promoting health and wellness. She graduated with her Master’s degree from Texas Tech University in 2009 and is certified by the NCCPA. Erika has worked in various specialties including emergency medicine and women’s health but has focused most of her career in
family medicine. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she attended Midland College and received an associate degree in applied science in respiratory care, after which she worked at the Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She spent several years working as a respiratory therapist while continuing to
pursue her Master’s degree and raising her family. She has remained active in the community by serving in various non-profit organizations as well as mentoring younger physician assistants including her own daughter who now practices in the Permian Basin.

Her past experience has helped her understand this community and the unique challenges we have in pursing our own path to happiness and wellness. She recognizes the obstacles that the health care system presents and is dedicated to put the patient first. Recognizing the prevalence of obesity and its associated health risks, she sought to empower individuals to achieve and maintain a healthy weight through evidence-based strategies and lifestyle modification. She is continuously leveraging her multidisciplinary career to focus on patient wellness with focused plans to include optimizing personal wellness through various integrative and preventive modalities. She is enthusiastic about helping you reclaim your wellness journey by emphasizing long-term success and sustainability.

When she is not focusing on patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
